pizza night

Our friends, Donna and Bg called tonight and said they were bringing Jerry's pizza over. The boys came a runnin' when they heard Donna's voice and were equally excited to see pizza also. Apparently they did not like the supper I made them tonight!

a man and his truck

Well, my hubby did it again. He treated himself to another toy this week. He traded in the bling mobile, otherwise known as a surburban, for a Ford F-150, a truck he has always loved. So, now you will have to keep your eyes out for Thinh in a grey truck, or a gray and maroon striped motorcycle, or on a crotch rocket or in a big truck with two trailers, or ............

why do we even have beds for our kids...

I put Mason down for a nap a little later than usual on this day. When I sent Andrew up to wake up Thinh, they found Mason napping on our bedroom floor by the attic door. I guess he was trying to go up and nap with daddy, but was too tired to go up the steps. Too cute!

freshly squeezed...

This morning, once everyone was up, we used the juicer our wonderful neighbor Kim gave us. The big boys took turns "juicing" and Mason put the oranges in the juicer and took them out again. Andrew ran and grabbed the straws and we sucked it down in record time.

Brandon's seven year check up

Just came home from Brandon's 7 year check up and he is doing just fine. He is in the 50th % for height and weight and has a BMI of 15.3. Brandon is just relieved he did not have to get any shots!!!

Aren't these black eyed susies gorgeous! We have lots of them blooming all around the yard. We are enjoying the great August weather we are having this summer.
So, since it has been so awesome outside in the evening, the kids have been learning all kinds of new tricks from their cousins Kaila and Emmi. Brandon is showing off a new move on the trampoline.

Tonight we decided to go for a family bike ride, which we sometimes do on a Sunday night. We took the rails to trails at Wilson College to get some ice cream at the ice cream station. Kind of defeats the exercise of a bike ride, but it is good cheap family fun.

Look what Thinh decided to treat himself with this weekend...another motorcycle. So, if you see a guy buzzing by on this beast, you will know who it is.
