Mason being Naughty, NO!

Mason discovered this little girl statue sitting on a bench in the back of Donna and BG's yard. Mason was holding an orange soccer ball, but noticed an orange pumpkin on the bench beside the girl.
Notice, no soccer ball, pumpkin now in Mason's possession.

Aha! She never even noticed!

Poor little girl, left with just some gourds!

Now, I have a "soccer ball" just my size and that is exactly what Mason did with it, kicked it all over the yard while Donna laughed hysterically!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin', keep those Quach boys Rollin'!

Brandon found the slightest little hill in the front yard to go rolling down.
Then Andrew joined in the fun...

And of course Mason followed his big bro's!

Mason getting help from Donna climbing the apple tree.

And, Mason looking so sweet with the wind blowing in his hair!

Who Loves BG?

Andrew loves BG!
Andrew and Brandon love BG!!

Andrew, Brandon and Mason love BG!!!

Bubble Fun!

We ran over to BG and Donna's in the late afternoon. I still had the bubble wands in my purse from the wedding yesterday and of course Andrew found them. So we had fun time blowing them in the back yard on a breezy evening. Brandon is pretending to be a soldier.
Mason giving out some kisses.

Despite the look, Thinh was having fun!

Andrew got "stickerfied" at Oliver's house this afternoon!

Does not take much to amuse a Quach!

Silly Mason

Mason took two gummy circles and was putting them on his eyes like they were glasses. We thought is was cute...of course most things our kids do we think are cute...it is just one of those things.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Zimmerman

The wedding reception was a lively place! The dj had a bubble machine pumping bubbles everywhere and inflatable instruments to be played by everyone! Trent, Heather's nephew, doing his best guitar hero!
The place was decorated beautifully for fall.

Mom and dad having a great time!

The yummy wedding cake!

Saturday night, our friends Aaron and Annette Smith and their boys, Adin and Tobias, graciously watched our 3 boys so Thinh and I could attend my cousin, Heather's wedding reception in Pine Grove. I am no photographer, but I try! Here is a pic of my aunt Karen, Uncle Skip, my dad, and my aunt Linda. Very nice to see them all 4 together.

Okay, so I may have forgot to take a clear picture of the bride and groom! Scott and Heather looked amazing! They were very kind to each other during the cake cutting/feeding. A cool thing about them, Heather donated a kidney to Scott about 4 years ago and I must say, Scott has never looked better!

Skip and Linda, the bride's parents, looking smashing themselves. They both weren't feeling well, but were still smiling!

My cousin Amy, Heather's sister, was the matron of honor, and Lexi, Heather's daughter, a bridesmaid. These two always know how to have a good time! And, they both looked beautiful!

Heather and Lexi both have gorgeous red hair and looked so sweet together, as always!!!

Brandon is growing up!

Tuesday after school, we played in the leaves. Oliver's birthday party was at 5 p.m., so my Brandon stopped playing and started doing his homework so he could enjoy the evening and not worry about getting his homework done. He is so amazing! Thinh and I are so proud of him and his study habits and the work he brings home, almost always perfect!!! He is loving 2nd grade...so far!
Brandon loves to experience new things. Although we have carved pumpkins in the past, he was really into this year and told me exactly how he wanted his pumpkin carved. One thing hasn't changed...he would not get his hands dirty scooping out the guts...mommy did it once again!

Leaves EVERYWHERE!!!

This big old pin oak tree sits in our front yard and gives us lots of shade in the spring and summer and lots of leaves on the ground in the fall! We could rake every day and it looks like we haven't done a thing. But...
it makes for some great leave jumping! The leaves make a giant pile and the boys love it! Mason screamed going back into the house when it was time to go in.
Andrew would make "leaf angels" and bury himself where you could not even see him!
Brandon was pretending he had "stinky leaf armpits"! I am not sure where they come up with this stuff!
Here, Brandon is "blowing" Andrew, the giant leaf, back into the leaf pile.

Happy Birthday Oliver!

Our next door neighbor, Oliver, turned 6 on Wednesday. Brandon and Andrew were just as excited for his party as Oliver was! They had a great time at his Speed Racer party and his mom made some yummy food too!

The picture of Andrew above is with his friend, Julian. Her older brother, Thomas, is in 2nd grade with Brandon. Thomas and Julian are in the boys "North End Bike Club". Julian is such a sweetheart! Larry, Oliver's dad, snapped the pic of Andrew and Julian hanging out at the party. Way too cute!

Is it Monday already?

Everyone slept in on Monday morning. We decided to tour downtown Chambersburg and go to lunch before saying good bye to Nick and Jess. On the square of Chambersburg is this funny cut out. We couldn't resist!
Even funnier is...Jess stood in the guy spot and Nick in the girl spot, in case you didn't notice!
And...Mason just couldn't keep up any longer. He missed many naps and stayed up way past his bedtime all weekend to join in on the fun and he just passed out Monday late afternoon while playing the DS. I love him!!!

Canadian Thanksgiving!

Since Nick and Jess are Canadian, we celebrated with them for their Thanksgiving on Sunday, a day early, but they were travelling and we love to eat, a win - win for all! Thinh's sister Mai, Jess and I cooked and baked all morning and it was so worth it!
We ate our turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, applesauce, cranberry relish, rolls and butter just to be able to justify dessert which was pumpkin roll, pecan pie and homemade pumpkin pie made with fresh pumpkin! Yummo!
Here is Mai double checking the buffet.
Thinh and Nick fighting over the wish bone, I am not sure who won though?
Everyone filling our plates until we couldn't breathe. Some smart ones did ride the bike trail after dinner!

Two tired guys

Thinh was so excited for his brother to arrive, he waited up for their arrival at 4 a.m.! So, by Saturday night after a very full day, Mr. NoNap Mason and Thinh crashed out together on the recliner!

Nick and Jess plus three

They are great with kids and our kids just love them both. Nick and Jess like to watch Jon and Kate plus eight, so we labeled this pic accordingly!

Some of Saturday's Crazy moments!

Jess was amazed there was an outhouse at the pumpkin patch and just had to try it out!
Once you pick your pumpkin and take the tractor ride back to the farm, the farm lady takes your pumpkin and tries it in each of these holes to see what size and how much to charge for each one. Jess thought it would be fun to line up the boys and Nick in back of their prospective "sizes".
This one was completely Jess' idea!!!
I am not sure, but I do believe Andrew is smelling the scarecrow's butt!!!
Nick all dressed up to go on a motorcycle ride with his big bro'!
