Ice Fest 2009

Our little town has lots of fun things to do! Every winter Ice Fest takes place. We walked around town after church on Sunday checking out over 50 (I think) cool ice sculptures.
Here is a self photo of our photographer for the event, Brandon!

Donna walked/ran (Mason keeps us moving) with us for some good times. The big ice throne, Mason was not interested.

Mason shouted and pointed at each one, "Look, Ice" as if he had not seen the previous ones, too cute!

the Stumbaugh's

this is for you steph, love ya

Happy Chinese New Year!

Mason, Andrew and Brandon in their Vietnamese outfits Grandma Quach bought for them in Vietnam.
Bailey, Simon and Taryn's arm cutting out the cookies.

Levi being a goofball.

Bailey thinking hard on what to write on his fortune for the cookies.

Taryn came up with some good ones!

Simon predicting the future.

Chinese New Year happened to be on a Monday and the kids had off of school. We invited the neighbors, the Nicklas', to come play, eat take out Chinese food and have some fun. We even made these fortune cookies.

Donna's 50th Birthday

Our wonderful friend, Donna Smith, turned 50 on January 26th. We surprised her with a party and dinner at Aki, the new Japanese restaurant in town. Donna ALWAYS has a good time wherever she is and lets just say, she had a blast on her 50th!

Her husband, BG, on the right displaying his appetizer. Craig is on the left and I think he has his fork ready to attack anyone trying to get to his sushi!

Thinh's appetizer and he ordered a meal, where does he put it all?

Love watching the hibachi chef's cook!

Brandon's Stage Debut with Mimi and Papa Too!

Mom and dad got picked to participate in "Password" at the show. Although they did not win, they still won a night's stay at a Holiday Inn in Harrisburg!
Brandon thoroughly enjoyed participating in the elementary chorus at the Capitol Theatre. He is singing, Hey Hobo Man here.

I think this is Your are Never Fully Dressed without a Smile. You could just see how much he loved being on stage and just sang away!

Andrew's Off Broadway Debut!!!

Andrew and Brandon were part of a Chambersburg Community Theater in January. Andrew sang in the Kiddie Korps and had a great time. He sang, Toe, Knee, Chest, Nut and Are You Sleeping and If You're Happy and You Know It...The top pic is of him doing "all 3" in the last song, good air Andrew!

Monday Morning Fun

After Brandon went to school finally from his 2 hour delay, Mason, Andrew, Thinh and I loaded up to go to the YMCA. Mason is fine going into the child care room as long as his big brother Andrew is with him. We stopped at home quick, after the Y, and picked up Tazzy to go along to the McD's drive thru for the boys. Tazzy needed to get out of the house. Doesn't take much for us to have some fun!
