Visitors from Toronto, Canada

Thinh's brother, Nick Quach and his girlfriend, Jess, came to visit us for a long weekend. It was actually a long weekend for them, Canada's Thanksgiving was on Monday. More on that later. Anyway, Nick and Jess are very smart folks, but they made one wrong turn (or no turn) and they arrived at 4 a.m. Saturday instead of Friday night. But, being the wonderful aunt and uncle that they are, they woke up Saturday morning and we made our way up to Beam's Pumpkin Patch in Lurgan (Amish country!). I highly recommend this farm to all families, we had a blast!
Here are Nick and Jess...city folks on the outside, country folks on the way inside! Poor Nick has terrible allergies, but he braved the fresh country air for his nephews fun! We took a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. Great times!
We passed this pretty pond on the way. It was just a gorgeous and perfect autumn day.
We arrived at the pumpkin patch and Jess became a kid again, or maybe she still is one! I think this pumpkin weighed as much as her!
The tractor on it's way back to get us. The boys just loved the ride.

Mason in Jail!?!

Friday night, Donna stopped by. The boys were downstairs playing nicely and we were actually having a conversation upstairs. We thought we heard Mason crying, but not too unusual in this house, someone always seems to be crying! Then we heard it again, like Mason was being held captive. Donna joked, "It sounds like Brandon and Andrew put Mason in a box!". As we go downstairs to check it out, we started laughing. The big boys were playing "bookstore" and Mason was in the "way", so they turned their little plastic table on it's side and put Mason "inside" (remember he could just crawl out between the legs). Mason stayed in there just crying away until we "saved" him. Too funny!

Andrew is as cool as a cucumber!

Andrew is definitely our easy going guy in the house! Before his soccer game last Thursday, he was chillin' out in his beach chair reading his ocean life book and waiting for his coach to arrive. Andrew really enjoys playing soccer and just has a great time on the field with his buddies running and saving goals. It is a real joy to watch him play and have a good time doing it with a positive attitude.

Mason vs. Roller Rink Floor

Our little local roller rink opens up for preschoolers on Wednesday mornings to play with scooters, balls, bikes and trikes. Mason was having a great time on a tricycle and made a quick turn and he face planted onto the hardwood floor and came up with a very big upper lip. I tried to get a picture of it, but Mason is not too into posing just yet! He is all healed up now!

Who's Bed is it Anyway?

After the boys shower tonight, they all climbed into our bed to watch some tv and play the ds. I couldn't resist a pic of how cute they looked all snuggled up together! PS~this is usually how we wake up, with a few extra guys all cozy beside us!

Busted!

While I was helping Brandon in the sunroom with his homework...little sneaky Mason helped himself to some ice cream, right from the carton!!!

Mason and his Trike

While the big guys were searching the "woods", Mason took this time to ride on his tricycle, uninterrupted.
