Lafayette Indiana to visit the Ailor's
Mimi, Papa and the quach five went on a quick 11 hour road trip to visit Aunt Wendi, Uncle Mark and Cousin Simon for a few days in August. The live in a wonderful neighborhood full of wildlife and papa captured this hummingbird getting a drink. Monkey Joes!
Columbia Park
Feeding ducks and fish...they have 3 nice sized ponds just a house away and the boys loved taking walks there to check out the scenery.
Washing our hands at the zoo after playing with the goats.
This is the Columbia Park Zoo...it is free and so kid friendly.
The boys spent a lot of time riding many of their old trikes, now simon's, on the long driveway.
Catching fish one evening.
We kept laughing 'cause the fish we caught we used for bait to try and catch bigger ones...we caught many, many sunfish.
Celebrating Simon's 2nd birthday a month early since we wouldn't get to be with him on the big day.
The front of their lovely home, Mark had just finished putting in the new pavers and painting...it looks great!
Mark made Wendi this "peace pole" one Christmas.
The BIG van...so much fun!
Wendi rented the Purdue Boilermaker Special and invited some friends and family over for a picnic and a ride or two around town on this...fun!
Simon at the extremely refreshing waterpark in town.
Simon was on a bus fetish and mimi supplied him with a few...
Thinh checking out Mark's ride.
One of the many chipmunks...notice he is sitting beside the trap...too funny!
Mason loved the various dress up clothes Simon has, especially the chef outfit!
